Sandra Villacorta appointed IUGS COGE Chair

The IUGS COGE council has elected Dr Sandra Villacorta as the new chair, following the untimely death of Chris King.

Dr Villacorta has thanked the members for their support and Acting Chair, Young-Shin Park, for her assistance in guiding COGE through this transition period.

She is a Peruvian researcher associated to CSIRO and Charles Darwin University (Australia) More information about the new COGE chair here.
