🥳GEFO in Action: Bringing Earth Sciences to Gifted Students in Benghazi

As part of the GEFO Programme, our Field Officer representing Libya, Salah El-Ekhfifi, delivered a workshop approved by the General Authority for Gifted Students at the Benghazi Center for Gifted Students, engaging secondary school students with key concepts in Earth Sciences and their real-world applications.

The workshop highlighted the scientific importance of fossils and the role of geotourism and geoparks in sustainable development. This Wednesday, 17, the programme will culminate in student presentations, where participants will share their insights and learning outcomes during an online session via Zoom.
