We are delighted to welcome María Julia Solari to our team! María is a Geologist from the National University of La Plata (UNLP) , specialist in geoscience education, and is currently pursuing an advanced Master’s degree in Education in Exact and Natural Sciences at the same university.
María brings exceptional expertise and collaborative leadership in geoscience teaching. She teaches Biology at the “Rafael Hernández” National School and serves as the President of the Network of Earth Science Educators of Argentina (REDCITIA), promoting innovation in teaching resources and strategies. Notably, her contributions include pioneering the creation of the subject “Earth Sciences” at the National College of La Plata, a curriculum that has been in force for over 20 years.
In recognition of her outstanding dissemination work, María was honored with the prestigious “Juan José Nágera” Award by the Argentine Geological Association (AGA) in 2024.Join us in welcoming Professor María Julia Solari!
