MoU between COGE and REDCITIA
We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Commission on Geoscience Education (COGE) of the International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS) and Red de Educadores en Ciencias de la Tierra (REDCITIA).
This agreement establishes a collaborative framework to contribute with strengthening geoscience education in Argentina and across the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region.
Through this partnership, both organizations commit to:
– Promoting high-quality, inclusive geoscience education worldwide.
– Encouraging joint activities, research, and publications.
– Supporting educators, students, and early-career professionals.
– Promoting educational initiatives, events, and outreach using social media and shared resources.
– Expanding access to geoscience materials—especially in Spanish—and engaging underserved communities.
