Oversee agreements of cooperation with international bodies and try to search for external funding

Prepares an annual budgetary proposal to be submitted to IUGS
based on the proposed annual work plan of the Commission.

Supervises development and co-ordination of COGE publications and contents (COGE journal on geoscience education, books, academic articles, abstracts and others).

Is responsible for the nomination and selection process for the Chris King Medal and other awards planned to recognize achievements and contributions in the field of geoscience education.

Advertises and promotes the aims, objectives and achievements of COGE and manages COGE’s presence across various social media platforms.

Members: Romina Celabe (Facebook & Instagram Champion), Monica Guzman (X Champion), Kimie Suzuki (LinkedIn Champion), Rodrigo Gutiérrez (webmaster and Youtube Channel Manager.

Manages internal records, organizing documentation, coordinating meetings, and ensuring adherence to COGE’s governance procedures. Also this committee oversees membership affairs, including assessment of member activity, follow-up communications, and support for maintaining an active and engaged commission.
