Welcome to our Newest GEFO, Néstor Damian Salinas Franco

The Geoscience Education Field Officer (GEFO) Program is excited to announce its newest member, Néstor Damian Salinas Franco (B.S., M.S.) from Itauguá, Paraguay!

Néstor is a Professor at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of the National University of Asunción, Paraguay (FACEN-UNA) and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Higher Education Management at the same instituion.

Néstor has multiple publications and presentations on sedimentology, petrology, geomorphology, and geoparks and is the Logistics Coordinator at the Latin American Chapter of the International Geoscience Education Organization (IGEO).
