New Regular Member Marian Selorm Sapah (Ghana)

We are happy to announce a new regular member of IUGS COGE: Dr. Marian Selorm Sapah from Ghana! She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Earth Science, University of Ghana.

Her field of specialization is in Geochemistry and Cosmochemistry. Her research interests are focused on the areas of Geochemistry, Geoscience Education, Environmental Geochemistry, Exploration Geochemistry, Cosmochemistry, and Planetary and Space Science. Dr. Sapah is also a Board member of the Geochemical Society, and the Public Affairs Officer of the Ghana Institution of Geoscientists.

Dr. Sapah was invited to apply to COGE after COGE members noticed her recent publication in Episodes titled “Geoscience Education in Ghana: status and recommendations“. Luckily, she responded affirmative, and we hope her acceptance as a COGE member will help global geoscience education flourish!
