New Regular Member Dr. Jorge Gómez Tapias (Colombia)
Exciting News from IUGS-COGE! We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Jorge Gómez as a new regular member of IUGS-COGE! 
Dr. Gómez is a researcher of the Geological Mapping Project at the Colombian Geological Survey (CGS). His expertise spans Geological Mapping, Geochronology, Science Outreach, GIS, and the Geology of Colombia & South America. As a passionate Geoscience Educator, he has extensive experience designing lectures, creating social media content, writing articles, and producing videos for diverse audiences.
We are excited to have him on board and look forward to the wealth of knowledge he’ll bring to our community!
