Apply for the Chris King Medal

COGE is proud to introduce the Chris King Medal, an international award that celebrates outstanding educators in the field of Geoscience Education. The biennial award program recognizes and rewards educators who have made significant contributions to the advancement of geosciences education globally, commemorating the life and work of Professor Chris King.

The Medal encourages and inspires educators to continue promoting the importance of geoscience education, recognizing those who have distinguished themselves by their magisterial work, the vocation of service, efficiency, and moral and ethical values at any educational level. Eligible candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in geoeducation and will be evaluated based on their innovative teaching methods, development of #educationalresources, impact on students and the education community, and professional service and leadership.
